Let me introduce you to my number one hairdresser, Sølve Haugereid at Adam & Eva Storgata. The thing is, I get a lot of questions about my hair. So I thought I should share a talk with Sølve with you guys, instead of pretending like I'm some kind of expert.
What's your number one tip for Scandinavian hair that gets all frizzy during fall and winter?
- The humidity changes when the weather gets colder, so it's important to get enough moisture. Two of my favorite series when it comes to moisture is nutri-thermique from Kérastase and anti-frizz from Bamboo, Alterna.
What's the two biggest hair trends this fall?
- I'm more about creating a hairdo for the person sitting in front of me, not the trend. As long as the hair is well done, you can get away with almost anything. What I can say is that the ombre hair we've been seeing a lot, is getting way softer.
Which tool is your favorite?
- The straightener! It can do anything. Waves, curls and straight hair. Ask your hairdresser how to use it or watch a film on YouTube. And remember to section your hair! That's my number one tip.
What's your two number one products right now?
- It depends on the hair type of course. But Ultimate Elixir from Kérastase gives great results. I've used it a lot in styling and it works every time. Also I recommend people to invest in good base products, like shampoo and conditioner. Just keep track on when the salons is having campaigns and it doesn't have to be that expensive. Also you don't have to end up with all the fake products that some sites are selling.
