DIY | Dior earrings

Her kommer en aldri s liten oppskrift!

As a bunch of other fashion lovers, I've been craving these earrings from Dior (I mean, just look at them). But since they're not exactly friendly to your wallet, I decided to try a DIY. Here's the recipe!

YOU'LL NEED
- Super glue
- Pearl earrings
- Matching pearl beads (big)
- Earring backs

WHAT YOU DO
1. The first thing you'll need to do, is adding a small amount of super glue on the pearl bead. I recommend asking for a super glue that dries fast, because this one was really slow.
2. Apply the earring backs on the pearl bead and let it dry. Remember to make sure the glue is completely dry before going for the next step.
3. Et voila! Now you can but the pearl earring through you pierced ear, the pearl bead will work as the earring back.

Can't wait to show you how they look on. And I can asure you that the earring backs doesn't show.

Redesign | Tassel Heels

These heels from Zara have been standing in the closet for a long while, so when I spottedthisLibresse redesign contestI was inspired to do a little make-over. I have another pair of heels and fake fur in mind already. Anyway, this DIY is super easy and here?s what you?ll need:

- Heels with ankle straps
- Scissor
- Two or more tassels (cut in desired lenght)
- Thread and needle

Then you mark the middle of the strap and simply sew on the tassels. Voila!

If you like DIY and redesign too, enterLibresse?s redesign contestand win anew fall wardrobe fromBubbleroom. It?s super easy, I went for loafers with a dash of sequins.

DIY | Crystal camo jacket

You'll need: 1. A military jacket 2. Rhinestones 3. Pearl bling 4. Bling 5. Thread and needle + Glue and a scissor.

Start with sewing on the biggest rhinestones. I bought mine at Panduro.

Then find a place for all the pearl blings and glue them on. I used a glue gun, but super glue will work fine too. The pearl blings I bought at a store for scrapping.

And after gluing everything on, it looks like this. Voila!

DIY: Dip dye jeans

YOU NEED:

- A pair of jeans

- One plastic bucket

- Bleach

- A ruler/stick

- Vinegar

DIRECTIONS:

1. Mix two parts water and one part bleach in a plastic bucket.

2. Put your jeans into the bleach mix and live it hanging on the bucket by using a ruler or a stick, when the liquid has reached the desired depth.

3. Leave the jeans soaking for about 30 minutes, some will take longer. Just check once in a while. Also it will look lighter when you wash off the bleach.

4. When the jeans have the desired shade, remove them and soak in a sink or bathtub with som vinegar for ten minutes to stop the bleaching process.

Please note: Wash the jeans alone for the first time.

Good luck!

DIY necklace

Endelig ferdig!

Inspired by Etsy and Tulipe Noir I did a small DIY project tonight. A very easy thing to make, but it's very decorative. Can't wait until I have this one peeking out under my collar!

DIY: rhinestone jeans

-

It's been a while since we saw these jeans from Christopher Kane for the first time. And I've been drooling at them ever since. Then Hilde wrote this post about the crystal trend and that was exactly the push I needed. So yesterday I sewed on crystals on a pair of baggy jeans. It took forever so the last ones got glued on with super glue. Won't be the last item in my closet that gets modified with crystals.

DIY: studded collar

You need a shirt, studs, scissor and maybe some thread and a needle in case the holes get too big.

Make small holes where you want to screw the studs. Be careful! I cutted my finger.

Finito!

-

The nice thing with grey weather, is that you get the time to do small DIY like this. It's super simple and you won't need more than half an hour or so. I bought the studs from this seller on Ebay.

Four identical rings

-

I love Maison Martin Margiela's four identical rings and have been looking for something similar since the first time I saw them. The thing is that I never wear gold and silver wasn't as easy to get a hold on. I ended up with ordering soft aluminium from this shop on Etsy and made them myself.

DIY // Proenza Schouler bracelet

Oppskriften finner dere hos Style Scrapbook.

-

I made a little copy of Proenza Schouler's bracelet yesterday. Super easy and super cool, but the shoe laces played an even more important part than I thought. Flat shoe laces, I don't recommend. Anyway, find the recipe at Style Scrapbook.

DIY // Jil Sander plastic bag

-

I got inspired by Kristine and sew this bag yesterday. I love it already, so now I'm looking for a bit more colorful fabric. Soon me and my little family is off to Bjorli and is going to enjoy the easter, so there won't be much updates in here before Sunday. Have a great easter everyone!
